This venue has replaced the Whistling Frog Bar & Restaurant, located in the middle of St Lawrence Gap - just across the road from Dover Beach and Dover Playing Field. Kitchen opens for Breakfast at 7:00 AM and continues to 1:00 PM. "Buy one Get one free" daily happy hours are 5-8 PM with drink specials outside of the happy hour. The Trendy Locals pass through here for "good liming" on a Thursday as one of their first Bar Hopping destinations for the night.

PABLO DONTE'S BAR & RESTAURANT

Picture
3rd Avenue, Maxwell Coast. 428-6762
This popular liming spot seems to be the place that carries the swing especially through "word of mouth" planning by the local "trendies". Parking is along the roadside and the bar is well stocked. Theme Parties are not uncommon and sometimes guests can find themselves crowding the swimming pool. But for the most part the dress code is casual. To be in the "know", do check out what's going on in their FB fanpage -http://www.facebook.com/pablodonte . Although this is mostly a "Lime", when it's good it's really off the hook.

VILLAGE BAR @ LEMON ARBOUR

Picture
Popular on SATURDAYS ONLY for "Pudding and Souse" (lime-pickled pig parts with cucumber or breadfruit, served with grated, seasoned sweet potato stuffed into sausage casing).
If it turns out that this is not your deal, you can try other options on the menu. This open air Bar with a charming view across the valley below, carries the rustic Bajan Vibe that the Locals and Tourists love to experience. Apparently the Bajans love pork and love to frequent here on a saturday afternoon. There is also a pool table section of the venue that adds to the whole "Bar Vibes" that makes this place an ideal way of making new friends. Local Bar Prices are appreciated by the patrons.

MOJO

Worthing Main Road, Christ Church. 1-246-435-9008
Every island in the Caribbean is influenced by external traditions and lifestyle. It is mainly this, that brings about the "alternative" music scene in Barbados. And with this movement come hosting venues - Mojo is an ideal setting for this sort of thing. Great pub grub and entertainment with live alternative acts. Located on a main road, the Trendy Locals say it is the place the pass through on the way or back from a night on the town - especially for cocktails.
